philco resistor wattage

Hi, I need to replace one of those flexible resistors on my Philco and I need the wattage for it. It is a 25 ohm flexible with the part number of 33-1334-5 off of a model 49-1602 I have not found how to decipher this resistors wattage any ideas?
Thanks!

5 watts will probably work. You can figure out the wattage drawn by using Ohm's law. If current draw figures aren't given in the schematic, consult a tube manual for general current draw characteristics for the tube in question. Then use 25 ohms to deciphor the wattage.

Actually, in the case of that radio, 2 watts would probably do just fine....most radios actually use a 1/4 to 1/2 watt resistor. If you want it to serve as a fuse, use a 1/4 watt resistor.

Thanks Thomas, does anyone know where I can get information on decoding these resistors, the Philco sites on the web have the others but I cannot find these 4 digit resistor ones.
