Beautiful - absolutely mint radio. Really simple sourcing question. I have a spent dial lamp. Marking says "OSRAM 7/0.3" Anyone know where to get one? I can call OSRAM in Munich if I have to. I can speak German, thanks to my time at Daimler.

Your lamps marking is indicative of a 7 volt @ 300 ma filament, but you didn’t refer us the bulb configuration nor the basing configuration…be it a screw or a bayonet.

In the common Chicago Miniature Lamp series, (Nope.... no red eye flight to "Chermany" for a lite bub pickup !...alas ) there would be 4 possibilities with the

most common being the #51 for a bayonet or the #50 for a screw type
base. If there are no envelope discrepancies, such as a precise focusing aspect on a dial assembly, that 1 candlepower spec is a lots of light output.

Plus that ½ volt extra voltage spec cushion should result in longer lamp life, as its most assuredly receiving a 6.3 VAC supply.

Thanks for the info. I did miss mentioning that the bulb has a screw-base vs. bayonet. Honestly, I was embarrassed to be asking such a simple question. To make it worse, I got the model wrong. It's an Opus 55. The bulb supply is voltage is 6.3 VAC. I called OSRAM in the USA, and they said that their German counterparts have different products. So I called Germany. I spoke to a friendly German woman that put me in contact with their technical guy. He said the German equivalent of "holy crap", and indicated that this is an old bulb. Go figure. Thanks for the lead.

Hi Frank,
you'll need 7V/0.3A Lamps with E10 screw-base.
E10 is Edison-Thread with 10mm diameter.

In German it's called "Roehrenlampe" because oft it's shape.
