Connect Audio Source to Tube Radio (4-A-30)

Can someone help me figure out how to connect a cd player or other audio source to my Firestone Air Chief 4A30 safely?

It has a phono input and an input for an FM adapter.

I inherited it and keep the same basket of fake fruit my grandparents kept on it. I think it is a great piece of furniture, but would like to be able to use it as more than an AM radio.

If there is already a reference that clearly explains how to do this please direct me there

Hi Mark

Use the phono input. When you insert a plug in in this input it disconnects the radio. See schematic.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a way to tell which of the two inputs is for phono? A 3.5mm plug will fit in the left one, but not the right one.

Is the power level from headphone or line out the right strength to use with the radio?
