Philco console starting at $500 ??

eBay is listing a Philco console radio and starting the bid at $500. Am I dense or is that particular model really worth that much? I think the buyer has a 0 rating so maybe they are new and don't know the street value of it. Or maybe it comes with $400 worth of gift cards lol

Hi Harold

Don't know in this case but people owning radios often think they have great value. Wait until bidding has ended. Most consoles sell for around $50 in my area. They are heavy and take a lot of room.

Norm,
I have a small following that is especially fond of all my crafts, restored trunks and radios. I sold my restored Philco 42-1008 radio/phono console for $400, but will personally deliver, set it up and demo for a near by fan. Sure beats the hassle of ebay and attendant costs of shipping/insuring a large item like this.
