Majesco 819 where can I find schematic & info...
11/12/2007 10:02:26 PMBob
Just "won" on ebay. It looked cool so I bid on it and
its mine...
I cannot readily find any info on Majesco... it says
licensed by Radio Corp of Ameerica but I see nothing matching RCA either...
See it at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110189557429&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:US:1123

Any help out there?
Bob

That really is a neat little radio. I've always wanted to own one of those .3 ampere AC/DC radios, preferrably with a working line cord resistor.

Though you might not find much information on your radio, most likely it is of conventional design, and should be very easy to repair. Replace all capacitors, and check coils and resistors for appropriate resistances/continutity. The radio most likely needs an external antenna.

Ask if you need assistance.

Hi Bob,
Majesco was a trade name for R.K. Radio Labs. You might try looking at schematics under this name to see if you can find a match.
