Supplier of Zenith Trans-oceanic parts

Good evening everyone;
Does anyone know where I might find a brass swing catch used to keep the front panel of an 8G005YT in the locked position? The swing part has broken off. I'm also looking for 2 of the red rubber suction cups. If you know of a supplier I would appreciate your help. I purchased this set at the Kalamazoo,Michigan swap meet for $90 and it is in nice condition and plays great even on some shortwave bands. Thanks again; Andy

Andy - I retrieved that Philco "Conecentric" chassis which has the tuning knob/shaft parts I think you wanted (37-4 ir 37-7). I couldn't seem to reach you by e-mail. ALSO - if you find a source for those red suction cups, I need some.

Hi Andy,
Have you been checking your e-mail? You wanted one or the other of us to set a price (with shipping) on the Philco Cone-centric knob and shaft set - and I have also been asking if you might need anything else off of it while I have the chassis out.
Have fun,
Eddie

I am also in need of the tuning and vernier knob as well as the knob screw to secure them to the tuning shaft for a 38-7 that I will be receiving in the mail shortly if you may have another set. Also have a 38-7 that is missing 2 tube shields and bases if you have them available also. My email is tony_senior @ yahoo.com Thanks!

Hi Eddie: I don't know what's happening with the e-mail you are sending because I'm not receiving it!!! Yes I'm still in need of the tuning knob/shaft pieces from the philco 38-7 set. Why don't you post your e-mail address and I can try to contact you this way. Would you trade me these parts for 2 red suction cups plus I'll throw in $10 ????

Thanks; Andy

Hi Andy,

That sounds about right - but wait - I just looked into my needs - what would it do if I needed 6 of those red Zenith suction cups?
Also - a couple of things made me wonder if you're British, so let me ask if you have a red Mullard EF39?
- - - you can try e-mail, but there must be something awefully wrong with it between our addresses.
Thank You,
Eddie
