stewart warner 1262 dial lamp

Hi, I have a stewart warner 1262 radio, it plays fine, (no hum, static, pops), and look even better. The radio did not come with a dial lamp, and I am wondering what kind of bulb I could use. I have a spare type 46 bulb is this ok? Thanks Ian

Ian,

If the radio has a screw type socket the #46 or a #40 lamp should work ok. If it is a bayonet type then a #47 lamp would be ok. The parts list suggests a lamp with a 6-8 volt rating.
