They list an 8070 as 3.5 volts. See if it looks the same?

Turn on your radio and measure the voltage of the dial lamp socket. You might also be able to determine this by tracing what it is connected to:

* If it is connected accross a power transformer filament wiring, chances are it is a 6.3V lamp.

* If your radio is AC/DC type and it is connected across a rectifier such as 35Z5 or 35W4, it is likely a 6.3V 150MA lamp. If it is a 25Z5 rectifier it is likely a 6.3V 250ma lamp.

If there are two lamps in series, the voltage could be lower.

If it is a neon lamp, chances are it is run directly off the A/C line at 120V.

If your radio is a farm radio (6V or 32V), or a battery powered radio, the lamp type and voltage can vary.

Note the voltage to it, current draw, and base type (e.g. wedge, Bayonet, etc) and we may be able to find you a lamp.
