Does anybosy know if reproductions are available for the dried out suction cups used on the Zenith Trans-Oceanic Wave Magnet antennas? It would be nice to be able to stick my antenna on a window, as intended!

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,

You can find original-looking pair of red rubber repros here for $10:

I have seen them at radio swap meets for less.

If you still have the old ones and they are intact, I have also heard you could bring them "back to life" by soaking them in either brake fluid or WD-40 overnight. Don't quote me on that since I haven't tried it myself - but what do you have to loose?

I have soaked the suction cups in Armorall original. It works great, but you'll need patience... after about a year they will be like new. - Robert
