Philco 46-1209

My husband has a Philco 46-1209 console radio/phonograph also with short wave. It works well but is missing a knob. Does anyone know its current value, and where we might find a knob for replacement.

Hi,
Resale is not too great on most post-war consoles with record player. It is possible that AES (www.tubesandmore.com) might have a suitable replacement, or the radio junkyard (http://vintage-electronics.com/rjy.htm).

I also have a Philco #46-1206. It works, but begins to have an burning odor after a few minutes. I would like to get it fixed up in a good working condition. Any suggestions? Any manuals or other sources available I'd appreciate the help. Thanks
