A reliabel man for field coil rewindingreplacement is Hank Brazeal in Alabama, 205-403-6243. hankspkr@charter.net. He also does reconing (sometimes necessary when replacing the field coil.)
Guys - what a coincidence - I sent a 7G605 Transoceanic speaker (with a bad rattle) to him a few years ago and he did an excellent job rebuilding it. He's about as high as the usual guys, but he's fast and good, and keeps a good reputation for his work.
