9/3/2000 10:05:10 PMPascal Debien
I have in my possession 5 National Electronic vacuum tubes 649/5834
These tubes are 6 inches tall and have a 4 pins socket. I can't find
any information in my reference tube book and I really don't know what
they are used for.
Can someone help me to find information on those tubes

When you mentioned a four pin tube I immediately thought of a rectifier - and I was right. The 5834 is a mercury rectifier with a 2.5v,7A filament - I have no info on peak voltages and current.
