Hello from France,
I am trying to estimate the vqlue of an old radio my parents left me ant actually sitting in my Garage. It is an RCA R99 Electrola. I guess it is not a radio but an amplifier with a turntable. More in details it have around 5-7 tubes amongst them 2x2A3, 1x5Z3, 6H6 and some other back metal ones. It has a very nice speaker 30cm big with some kind of metal conel mounted in front of it. On top there is one of these old needle type turntable. The furniture is in bad shape eaten in places by termites but it plays very nice I am amazed. Since here in france I never show a similar one and it is definately a US product please if you have an idea give me a hint , regards george

George: I don't know about the value, but it was made in 1936. There's an ebay offering for one of the original magazine ads with picture for this model at: http://cgi.ebay.com/1936-RCA-Victor-Phonograph-Electrola-R-99-Print-Ad_W0QQitemZ190158013694QQihZ009QQcategoryZ38030QQcmdZViewItem
bonne chance,
