Hello everyone

I just picked up a Zenith 6-V-27 and have a few questions that I hope someone can answer.

1. What type of grille cloth was used on this radio and does anyone sell a replacement?

2. How much current at 6V does this set use?

3. Are the schematics available on this web site for this radio?

Antique Electronic Supply sells grill cloth for old radios. Check them out at tubesandmore.com
The tube filaments and lamps draw 1.66amps. Allowing another 2 amps for the vibrator circuit and you should have a power supply able to supply 4 amps.
Couldn't find the schematic on the web but it's on page 226 in Most Often Needed 1926-1938 Radio Diagrams By Beitman. Some libraries can get this book for you. If you can't get the schematic email me your address.
