Silvertone model 1968
9/11/2007 9:20:47 PMRob S
I have a chance to get a nice model 1968 with 10 or 11 tubes, fout of them 45 outputs, are these of any collectable value? I cannot seem to find much info on them. It is a large console, round dial, from 1935-36.

Rob,
Stein's price guide showed a value of $375 in 2000.
Probably based on the 45's being good. :)

I saw this radio also and was considering it as it is only about an hour away from me, however if even one of the 45's is bad the radio is not worth the repair. Too much of a gamble for my blood, plus the woman whos auctioning it off will not answer my question as to if it plays or not. She answeres every other question I put to her but refuses to answer this one, and I asked her twice with no responce.
