Duplicating Philco Finishes 1930s Tombstone Radios
8/31/2007 9:02:56 PMBrian
I have several old 1936-37 Philco tombstone radios, with that two tone finish on the front of the cabinet that has flaked off badly, and down to the bare wood. Has anyone been able to duplicate or can suggest how to touch up those bare spots without stripping it?

a little further research reveals it is a photo finish problem, and not east to fix.

Brian,
There are many posts on this site an others with workable solutions for your problem. Just Google Philco photo finish or photo finish, and you'll get a lot of hits.
