
In all probability....possibly....? because you can't actually vouch for the age of that cell. But more importantly the additional
fact that the cells use
ONLY comes into play in utilizing the ohms function of the instrument and only then; it is feeding
into the higher impedance/ higher resistive loading of a vacuum tube input with a minimal loading of that cell being done.
The worst case being in its very lowest ohms scale range where the highest current drain in its completed loop is
encountered between the probe----through the resistance being tested---- to ground.
