Hi, Nate. I haven't tried that particular product. Most of them, I think, are mixtures of turpentine and linseed oil, plus marketing. The ones I've used seem to work equally well - so I would watch the prices, or concoct you own.
Doug

There are many products for wood/plastic/metal beautification. It all depends what you are trying to do. Wood 'scratch cover' usually darkens the area in order to hide the scratch.White water rings can be removed from the finish by rubbing with a dab of toothpaste. Personally, I like to keep light wood light and have had good results with 'neutral'(clear) or 'cherry'(red tinged) Restor-a-finish. Many tones are avalible for different wood colors and tastes. Piano and violin restorers have some wonderful secrets about making wood look new again. Plastic polishes by Novus do a fair job of cleaning and glossing clear or colored plastics, but they wont remove deep scratches or yellowing of dial lenses. Metal finishes, painted or unpainted, seem to clean and brighten up with regular automobile type 'doll-up' products. Wrinkle, spackle or otherwise 'rough' paint surfaces usually clean up ok with a good foaming glass cleaner containing ammonia, but be careful around painted-on or silk-screened on lettering and numbers on panels, faceplates and dials as some of these seem almost like they are made of water-based paint or india ink and can be wiped off or smeared and are best left alone or just dusted with a dry cloth.
