Zenith 5S56 Dial Glass

I am wondering if anyone knows where reproduction dial glass is available. I was restoring this radio/console and cracked the 3.75 inch convex glass. I know the larger Zenith dial glass is readily available, but this console has a smaller Zenith round dial. Any help is appreciated!

Try a clock repair shop. They can order different sizes of glass. Might find one searching the internet?

Yes that's agreat source. There are many on line. I found my exact 5 3/8" replacement convex glass ( cheap too) for my old Howard by contacting clock supplies on line.
Search under "horology"... who knew? lol

Bill Turner may not be able to help with glass anymore... I sent him money (approx $18) to buy my convex glass and waited and waited. Then he said the place he orders from was not responding. So I gave him more time. He said he couldn't ever get his supplier to respond so he decided to give up and refund my money.

That's when I finally went to a clock repair place on-line searching under "horology" and bought the exact glass I needed for only $4.95 and it was shipped fast. Cheaper faster and no hassles.
