Sessions Electric Clock for Philco PT-69

Hello all,
I am in the process of restoring a Philco PT-69 table radio and the Sessions clock that is in it needs some work. I am not a "clock" person so would like to know of someone that I can send it to for repair. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dean

Hi,
Believe it or not, there is an American Clockmakers Guild. If you can locate a clock repair shop, ask them if they are a guild member. If so, they will have the resources to fix it right, replace it, etc.

I am not sure if they have a website, Norkro ( http://www.norkro.com/ ) might be a good starting place to help you locate someone in your area.

Irony is that you are more likely to find a guild memeber than you are to find a repair shop for the old radios.

Hi John,
Thanks for the information. I have located several clock repair shops via internet but did not inquire about the Guild membership. I will definitely do that when I start my inquiries. I agree, entering "Antique Clock Repair" on Yahoo netted 4000+ hits!!! If only there were that many for the radio's themselves.

Thanks for your help and time.

This is the first reference I've found with regrds to Sessions Electric clocks. Have you been able to find a souce for repair or parts??? I'd be VERY appreciative if you would share this information. I have a family heirloom of a "94DW" self starting electic Westminister chime clock that needs a motor (I think it's a motor problem)...but have been unable to find someone who would even TRY to get the replacements or a substitute. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. (I've been trying off and on for over 12year to get this repaired Thanks ~Carol~
