BC-611 Handy Talkie
7/24/2007 2:02:24 PMDave Froehlich
Hello All,
I'm looking at some BC-611 Handy Talkies. These are very well made units from WWII. I see that they have something called a resistor and a capacitor cup which is a ring that resistors and capacitors are built into to save space. Do people rebuild these like the bakelite units in Philco radios or should I replace the capacitors external to these boxes?
I see a lot of paper
Thanks,

Dave

I wonder how that happened. The message posted itself automatically,

I see a lot of tiny paper capcitors to replace. This is a mini mini battery portable set with an extra 3V4 used for transmitting.
