Tex,
These were common plugs used years ago, (toasters, irons and radios, along with the round version, all without the polarizing (wide) prong. I just purchased 2ea from RadioDaze nearly identical for a rebuild. I've even found them in a local hardware store.

Those plugs were sold by the jillions over the counter in hardware stores, drug stores, Western Auto stores, etc, etc. They may still be around as far as I know.

7/3/2007 7:01:16 PMEdd...Posting info

We l l l l ...heh...heh...heh.....it looks as if some of you took my info on the posting of a photo in so exacting of a manner that even the inclusion of
my quotation marks were also incorporated. Those were solely placed there for the emphasis of the inclusion of the "hot" URL refererence addee
utilized...and emphasizing NO spacing permitted between the "HEADER"...made up of...a less than symbol, two abbreviations and a symbol....
IMG SRC= ......and an insertion of the pictures "hot" URL with a final "TAILER" made up of a single greater than symbol. Some posts were also having
the quotation marks being thrown into the mix....fortunately, they are transparent.

For further clarification:

The referencing to a "hot" URL.......... is one that is hosted by a continually active server and its file storage media utilized.

Much in the order of the continual presence provided by a phone company - police station - emergency hospital - water and sewer
services-electrical power station, etc, etc. Who knows when a visitor from half the way across the globe might make access and need
that info downloaded.
Also important, the integrity and the access -retrieval-delivery speed of the server, along with its data feedback
routing.

When you have created a page with the inclusion of a photo, there will be an initial reading of the page and a pinging of the URL site hosting
and a request for your info to be pulled from file and zipped back for supplemening the required info on the page ...BAMMMMM... all being done at
the speed of light......errr..... or, at least in a couple of silly milliseconds ! If it doesn't receive that data cache poste haste...there will be a void
where the info was supposed to be, or eventually, after a prescribed number of attempts...and an unsuccessfull retrieval.....a blank pic logo or
else an x appears as a filler.

In a reviewing of the structuring of some multiple attempts and an unsuccessful postings by different persons, I was typically finding spacing
errors , character errors or the placement and / or sequencing of the HTML characters below :

< (less-than symbol)
> (greater-than symbol)
" The double-quotation mark
'' A pair of single quote marks...not the same.

Soooo, I will include the basic posting format once again , however, it being created in a cell , such that the otherwise transparent HTML functions will then show up clearly for your observation, with the inserted "hot" URL being highlighted in RED:(Track down that specific image also..later)

It starts with two initial "breaks"...aka....linefeed / returns / ENTER's......in order to countereact the mysterious phantom colons that at times, show up in the first of texting on this site.
Then type the less than symbol and jam IMG[image] right after it...(upper or lower case is permitted)...then one space ...OR even one hunnert 'lebenteen is also permitted...... after it and then enter SRC.....(upper or lower case is permitted) and jam an equal sign on......that now creates
your preamble.
Now you take your "hot" images URL addee and jam it right in after that equal sign and add a "tailer" at the end by the jamming on of a single
greater than symbol.

THASSIT ! ! !

Reproduced here now, as a cell such that it can NOT be copied, UNTIL retyped and THEN it can be saved-cut n' pasted... or even tattoed
onto the forearm until adequate proficiency can be attained in posting. Saving a copy will then let one highlight the internal URL and then paste in a new URL to replace it......permitting both speed and accuracy to be obtained.

ADDENDA:

Reiterating....Should one want to view the HTML composure of this web page for any proofing, have it at FULL screen sizing and do a right meece click upon the central texting......NOT the peecture... Clem Kadiddlehopper !!!...only the central texting...[***] Now after you have your accursed cursor's pointer placed upon it, gaze upon the opened dialogue box and drop your pointer down to the VIEW SOURCE option and left meece click upon it and a mini note pad will appear with ALL of your HTML structuring and textual content within it.
If you get lost in proof-reading, you can use a Control Find to re-direct yourself to a particular texting, whilst simultaneously viewing the main page on the periphery. ( However, the notepad will minumize on cross entrys, but it can easily be recalled with a keystroke or bottom page cursor action.)

THASSIT !!!

[***]Now, Clyde...on that peecture that you were oogling......it can be lifted in the following manner:

Position your meeece pointer upon the picture proper and then left click opon it, whereupon a dialog box will open with options..the one of interest is the
very bottom one labelled as PROPERTIES, a left meece click upon it will bring up its relevant dialog box with its mini title at the top and its formative
structuring, its sizing, as well as its picture element density.....what you will be wanting is the URL of the picture unit which is located at center page.
To lift it , the best procedure to use is to direct your cursor to the very top left corner of the URL addee and hold down-left cursor click as you work / swipe right and downwards to get al l l l l l l of the addee highlighted...as some of them are looooong moth'as. Then a pointer positioning upon the highlighting and a right click will get you the dialog box with its COPY option, whereupon you drop the pointer down to the COPY line and left meece click upon COPY and that data is in temp storage. Now you can go to Internet and its home page and paste in the picture's URL on the addee line and hit ENTER . If all was error free, that pic should now appear by itself, assuring you of its validity. Then that pic's URL could be used as a future postings "filler".

( Also, that very same entry procedure could be used if you are uncertain of one of your "photos-schemas-diagrams" having been corrupted....or still being "hot" sourced.)

Now boys and girls, clutch your meeces in hand and do a little sluething of this entry in its HTML format by going to VIEW SOURCE...with your Buck Rogers official decoder rings at your side...and the term of transparent will be further clarified.
