Does anyone have the schematic or wiring diagram for a Magnavox model 20 radio? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Edd,

Riders page 15-89 shows an instrument model 20 utilizing an AM chassis of CR-168.

Thank you for your replies.
Unfortunately, I just know the set number, No.7960.
This old radio has six wires;
+B
+A
+22 1/2
-C
-A
+67 1/2
Actually, I need a battery scheme to turn on the radio. Is it impossible to find it out with such a short information?

Paul

Still no luck with both of your "Mystic Pizza" numbers . I am aware one 30-40'ish vintage battery operated Maggotbox that does not have
an alternate AC power supply option and is solely dependent upon battery power . This particular unit uses two 45 VDC batteries in series to get its 90 VDC " B" plus and a separate 1.5 VDC for the A supply filaments. Much in the order of your requuirements, however it is getting a derived +22 bias from the internal radio circuitry , the way it is internally wired. It uses two 3 prong plugs (one dummy pin) for series connecting the 45 V B+ battery connections and a separate 2 pin plug for the "A" battery voltage.

Are we to understand that the unit that you have is just bare wire exposed with no connectors ? Also Maggotbox liked to use the common
red and black color coding for the A battery line wiring, with a tendency for the use of blue + and yellow - for the B supply wiring. Any chance that the color coding...even extending within the light protection of the under chassis....is still distinguishable ?

Also how about the info on the tube lineup...this one uses the 1A7 / 1N5 / 1H5 / 1C5 as its tube linup.. and its chassis profile is almost
a perfect SQUARE instead of the common rectangular dimensions. Also the knob arrangement on the right front side.. all being off center to the right is ON / OFF VOLUME........PH-RAD SWITCH.........and TUNING.
