Where to purchase rubber grommets?
6/15/2007 8:17:01 AMGary
I went to Home Depot and an auto parts store. Not there. Where does one find them? I know they're available in sets on the internet, but I don't need all those different sizes. Thanks.

Dennis, How did you send your email so the grommet photo was included? I have not seen anyone do that before.

Thanks all for your suggestions. For now I purchased a 180 piece from ebay for $13.50 including shipping. Hopefully, this should hold me for now.

Peter, I'm in the process right now of getting all the "essentials" together. And now I'll have rubber grommets!

Right now, a reasonably priced signal generator is eluding me. My preference is for the Eico 324, but those are fetching over $60 on ebay and usually without test leads. A new Elenco signal generator is $140 but I'm not sure how good those units are or if I really need to spend that much.

It's all an adventure, especially with the rusted Emerson I'm working on. It was previously home to a white mouse before I got it!

Gary,

It's good to have an assortment of sizes....In addition to using grommets to protect wiring through chassis applications, I use them frequently to replace worn out tuner mounting sleeves. They work great for that purpose.....
