Looking for Electrolytic in Viking Radio 5B60
6/8/2007 8:58:45 PMBrian
I'm looking at the schematic for the above radio, data sheet Phonola - 23, 1935-36, model 5B60 and can't find an electrolytic capacitor. Can someone help me out here?

Brian,
Many battery sets do not use electrolytics. Looks like the .5mfd/200v cap is doing the filtering on the B+. Looks like a fun radio with the interesting 30 tubes.
Good luck,
Bob

thanks for the reply, could you pin point that one on the scematic for me, it is the one near the 45 v? Something is bringing the B (90) voltage way down, any suggestions?
