Would someone have the schematic for the Sprague TO-3? Or at least may know the resistance value of the VOLTAGE adjust potentiometer.

Weeeeelll I guess that Guy bit would go all right , just as long as you don't sweep up right beside me and drape your arm over my shoulder and come out with.......H i i i i i i Guuuuuyyyyy.....
...Used to know a LARGE Pvt...like very ..Too Tall Jones type of physiqueish..... in the Army, who liked to drift into the USO clubs rest room and rapidly have a candidate rushing out from the rest room in midstream.
In referencing to the pot:
Hey feller...got a "spot" on your pot ? It being the one just under the meter on the right top quadrant of the instrument.
If your unit has the part numbers designated on its casing , will the following info help you..also included is its adjunct series "brother" in the divider string.

Edd,
The TO-3 doesn't have the series brother resistor. The pot had been replaced some time with a 50K 5 Watt one. It was getting way too hot. In fact I will have to wear a bandaid on my hand a few days until the burn heals. The pot has approximately 670 volts across it. Ohms law figured it should be rated considerably more than 5 Watts. Since I didn't have the schematic handy, thought someone on here could look at the schematic or know the resistance of the pot. As for the "Guys & Gals", I realize now that perhaps "Ladies & Gentlemen" would have been more appropriate.

In another post here Alan Douglas advised that the pot is a 50K Ohm at 15 Watts. Whew!! THANKS for your help.

50k 15 watt. That's going to be very difficult to find.
Alan,
Thanks very much. The pot had been replaced at one time and not having a schematic for the TO-3, I was not sure if the resistance was right. The pot that was installed is a 50K 5 Watt one. With approximately 670 volts across it, it gets very hot. Again thanks.
