Hewlett Packard made tubes?

Came across two NOS 6E5 indicator tubes still in original boxes. Never knew HP made tubes! The bases of the tubes are marked with the HP logo and their full name. The tube boxes are also labled HP and have the address as being - HP Company, Customer Service - 395 Page Mill Road - Palo Alto - California. I wonder if this address still exist?

Hi

Address is still good but don't think HP made the tube. Most likely made by RCA or Sylvania and marked with HP requirements.

I heartily second the motion !!!...and if you find any of these cryptic EIA identifier numbers upon those toobies ...you will then know who the TRUE artisans were.

RCA 274
SYL 312
GE 188
T-sol 322
Philco 260
