STEWART WARNER MODEL 300

hi i have and old stewart warner radio model 300 i need the tube line up for this set the schematic as on this site but it does not show what tubes are used and where they go thanks for any help

Hi Greg

Stewart Warner 300 is a 1920's battery radio. Tubes for this radio are 01A's. If you want the original globe shaped type look for UX201A (RCA) or CX301A (Cunningham).

If you're not hung-up on orginality, just functionality, I would suggest any '01As, e.g. ST-shaped. Tested used tubes are fine, at half the price.

thanks for the help norm and doug now i no what too look for in tubes i hope too see them used and cheep at the next hamfest i picked up this radio at a local antique radio flea market less the tubes with the metel sides painted silver thanks agn greg
