Will just any oscilloscope be suitable for old radio work? Ex. TEKTRONIX T922R

That unit should meet.... and far exceed any requirements for being " suitable for old radio work?"

Be ye well aware...however... that the ..."R" series is indicative of it being in the large RACK MOUNT configuration and housing and not exactly a piece of cake for transportability....(but VEWY impressive in a lab environment.)

PS...also don't expect the resolution to unitarily count out the individual cycles on a 50 MHZ rf signal...thats reserved for a MUCH pricier time domain storage scope.

Total overkill for radio work. But if you can afford it and you're sure it works, I would go for it!

This, of course, is a solid-state 'scope from a premier manufacturer. I have used tube-type 'scopes, and can't recommend them unless you are a vintage 'scope collector or a glutton for punishment.
