:Does anyone know where I can get some good fresh 200 MFD 450 WV capacitors for my L-4B power supply?
: It hasn't been run in about 13 years and I thought I would put in some new caps but I can't seem to find any.
:Jim, have you checked Mouser? Otherwise, you can get 100-uF, 450-V caps from www.justradios.com. Put four of them in parallel.

If the caps are radial types you can check at www.mouser.com and check for the part number of

These are surely the mother of all e-caps. Don't get your screwdriver across the terminals when the cap is charged - you'll have a welding machine on your hands!

Jim: I'm not sure what style you need for the Drake, but RF Parts has a good selection. I assume you are looking for electrolytics. They have 220's at 450V in twist lock cans. Check the bottom of the webpage at: http://www.rfparts.com/caps_hdfilter.html#twist
Otherwise, I'm sure someone at Dayton will have them somewhere.
