I have been working on restoring an old philco 49-1602 console and due to some pretty nasty scratches in the finish I'm gonna have to refinish the whole thing, what I was wondering... is there any way to replace the labeling on the front of the console The Philco Name..The Phono/Radio, Volume etc.. thanks... There are places that sell decals for Philco radios. I am looking at the AES capalog, www.tubesandmore.com Their Philco decals are S-M907 and sell for $5.95 in the 2005-2006 catalog. Might also check with Radio Daze, www.radiodaze.com

Dan,

You may want to take some pictures of the radio showing the location of the stickers before you remove the finish so you will know exactly where the replacements go after the refinish.
