Hello All,
This one has a couple of mechanical problems because it was kind of rusty. The plastic pieces that hold the tuning slugs in place and allow them to be adjusted have deteriorated. Plus one of the slugs has cracked. The coils look ok though.
Does anyone know where I can find these parts? Until I find them I'll hold off on the electronic restoration.
I have the service data (SAMs) for this radio.

You might try some RTV to hold the shafts of the tuning slugs in the tuning bar. You may have to do a quick alignment of the slugs before the RTV sets up completely. The best bet for a replacement tuning slug is probably a junker parts radio.
