Hello, I recently got interested in building a two or three tube regen, I wondered if any one out there built one, and could point me in the right direction as far as design,parts ect .I'd also like to point out that i'm a beginner in the homebrew dept. cheers Andy

I'll second with Norm on the Antique radios forum, and this forum is great too. Here, this looks like a period design, i have yet to build this. http://www.mines.uidaho.edu/~glowbugs/KW7WT_2.gif

There was also the "later" Knight Kit Ocean Hopper, both in an early octal version and a later mini-tube version (35W4, 50C5 and 12AT6), which was a 3 tube regenerative kit. I still have mine, and it uses plug-in 1 1/4" coils into a standerad 5-pin socket to cover all bands from below AM (165KHz) to 35 MHz with 6 plug-in coils.
