I would like to build a broadcast band and shortwave radio using 1.5 v tubes. I have found tubes, sockets, tube shields and oscilator coils at Antique Electronics Supply, Tempe,Az USA. Variable tuning capacitators can be had at RFParts inc.
Now whwere can I get a 1960's era 455khz mechanical filter for a first IF transformer?
And does anyone out there know hor to rig up a 1R5 as a product detector and AM detector?
