General Electric H61-B

I am back looking for help from you gentlemen again. I have a power supply kit which I'm assembling, and hopefully will use it to power a battery operated radio. The problem is that I still haven't been able to find a schematic for this radio. The specs are as follows..General Electric, model No. H61-B. The tubes are as follows...1NS,1G6, 1H5, 1A7,1G4, 1N5..This is a fairly large table top, wooden radio in great shape.
Thanks for any help you can give me in finding a schematic for this radio or a similar one.

Job,
Are you absolutely certain of that (H61-B)model number ? I could find no listing of that model number in Sams, Beitmans, Riders or on any European sites.

Hey Job,

Check your email. See if that matches.

Kin----Thanks for the schematic and I will check it out tomorrow. I am having trouble with the power supply which I purchased for this radio but checking with the supplier before I get you guys involved. One question though. Are the readings to be read in alternating or direct voltage from the various output sources. The highest B plus is supposed to be 135v but I'm only getting 25v....Hopefully I'll hear from the supplier soon.
All the best and thanks for your help.

Hi guys: H61-B is a Canadian General Electric radio. (Hey Dennis, somehow I'll have to get a cd of the "Canadian Radio College of Canada" radio schematics to you; Ha,Ha)

A legal updated RCC CD can be purchased from me for $15.00 Cdn postpaid.

Many of the earlier schematics are available on this site free. RCC did not publish a schematic for the H61-B.

Excellent CD. Ed's other cd the RCA Canada Service Manuals (Red Books) 1 thru 5, 1929 to 1952 is a great resource as well showing cabinet styles and has good phono service info. Use them both.

Andy,

Duh !! That was the only one of my archives I did not check !!...Dumb mistake on my part.

I live right on the border with Canada and have many Canadian acquaintences and pick up many radios of Canadian manufacture at various venues over there.

I have all of the Canadian schematic CD's but blew this one.

My apologies Job. :o(
