:::Hello overthere,
:::some weeks ago I bought a large Shop Tube Tester at Ebay, unfortunately without any kind of manual. It is a really big one with only 3 switches, a GOOD/BAD meter and more than 100 fix wired tube sockets. The problem is, the sockets are unlabelled so I do not know which tube fits which socket. What I need is a listing that shows the right location for each type of tube. There is no manufacturer or model label at the tester, the only thing is an inscription at the front reading : BEST TEST. I would appreciate very much if someone has any kind of information about the set. I can mail a picture of the set for identification.

::Hi Peter,
:: There are several web sights that have information on test equipment. You wll need to know who made it and perhaps dig a bit. One sight is http://bama.sbc.edu/triplet.htm.
:: Not everything can be found. I am still looking for the Triplett 3433.

:There is an operation manual for a Triplett 3433 listed at:

:http://www.agtannenbaum.com/
:
:There is a charge for the manual, however, AG Tannenbaum does good work on the manuals.
