HELP needed with a Philco 60
3/30/2007 2:28:47 PMTerry
I'm restoring a Philco 60 and the 78 tube doesn't seem to be getting any heater voltage. The schematic from NostalgiaAir does not show voltage readings. Does anyone know where I can get a schematic with voltages?

Thanks,
Terry in Texas

Terry,

The 78 tube is rated 6.3 volts at 0.3 amp. The filament is between pins 1 and 6 (the two larger pins).

Terry, it's best not to post the same question on multiple forums, e.g.: http://antiqueradios.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=69564

It dilutes the energy of those who would try to help you. If, after a reasonable period of time, you don't get an answer, then certainly repost elsewhere.

Doug,
Simple solution, if you go to a another site and see the same Help Message you've already replied to, don't do it again.
If I've got a dozen forums that I like, I'm not going to wait to see if they reply to my Help Message one at a time.

Terry, will will find the "shotgun" approach of posting to many forums will not be very productive.

And if you were to check you will see this question has already been answered on ARF.
