CV and CK type tubes???
7/5/2000 12:01:24 PMDoug Brash
I just came across a box of various CK and CV type tubes (i.e. CK503AX and CV2243).

I can't seem to find a substitution list for these type of tubes.

What are these type of tubes? Why the CV and CK numbering system?

Can anyone help?

Hi Doug

CK are Raytheon tube numbers. The CK503AX is a sub-min tube used in early hearing aids. You can find some information here at nostalgiaair under tubes.

There is a cross reference for CV numbers at duncanamps.com.

Doug

List them on ebay if you like but don't expect a lot of money. Maybe $1.00 each with certain types bringing more. Give it a try.
