Eico 150 Tracer manual needed
3/1/2007 5:13:23 PMDennis Wess
Hi to all,

I've been working with a friend to help him learn a few restoration / repair methods. He just picked up an Eico model 150 signal tracer. Does anyone have the operator's manual / schematic for this kit-built tracer ?

I was hoping that Bama had one on their site but no such luck.

Scanned images of the manual would be of great help.

Thanks in advance.........

The 150 is a solid-state model......whereas the 147/147a are tube jobs. Thanks for the thought though :o)

:Stan, if you go to bama I upload a copy of manual but I don't think it has been cataloged yet. Try going to the upload section and see if you can find it an download. If you can not find it let me know and I'll make up a file and e-mail it to you. PL

Stan or Dennis, did you get the copy? I still have it on my computer. I bought the manual from MM and uploaded copy to bama. Just visited bama and its not listed and I could not get into the upload files, their busy and request member password which I don't have. I would also suggest to any members who are looking for manuals/schematics to check the upload section of bama as there are about twenty files in there all not listed yet. If one of you still needs the manual let me know and I'll e-mail it. PL

This thread seems to have become a bit convoluted so I am not sure who I am respinding to......but.....here is the story so far.

At one point in time I needed the Eico 150 manual to help out a friend who had bought a 150 signal tracer. I was helping him to understand how to operate it. A N/A member came through and scanned and emailed to me the complete manual.

I, in turn, Emailed the manual (about 8 pages actually) to my friend and that was the end of the story........until......Stan mentioned that he needed a copy also. Now.....this is where my memory fails me. I think I emailed Stan and offered the manual to him also but I can't remember if he ever responded. Soooooooo.....Stan - if you read this and still need the manual (or anyone else for that matter) just let me know.

Funny thing is - Stan lives only 8 or 9 miles from me so I could give him a hard copy if need be by driving over to his place.

That's where we stand.....I think.

By the way....I did get onto the BAMA site several weeks ago and I believe that they are no longer accepting uploads for anything except boatanchors. No test equipment or other manuals except for ones that are mentioned in their "needs" list.

Regards,

Dennis

Annnnnnnddd......I just happended to visit the BAMA mirror site the other day. That being while initially looking for another item, and I found the 150 manual, IS listed, about 5-7 items down, on the recent uploads list. I downloaded it, just for making a circuitry evaluation and saw that I would be just as well off with the tubed version that I curently use.

I avoided the password hassle and the slower download speed by using the mirror site, or the additional option of access thru "Godzilla" Firefox will also advert it.
Now.... if I can just finally debug the RAR compressive format that some Russkie sites use.......

The unit is now 2 bits lower than was mentioned, with them being in alphabetical arrangement.
But here is a dupe list of the most recent equipment at their URL suffix..... /uploads/ ....sector therof:

Tech reference...soooo....MAG it on up in size.....
