I have the Riders on that; it is volume 11, Stewart Warner page 2. If you can't get a copy of this, email me at portraitartist1@netzero.net and I will scan it for you. Dial cord should be easy to obtain from many of the electronics distributors like Antique Electronics Supply (in Arizona) and Radio Daze (in New York). They are on-line.

Hi all!
well, AES does not have any dial cord, your best bet would be as stated, Radio Daze, however they are rather slow in shipping.

With your other suppled info already on hand here is the stringing info:

Also, if a first timer at that, you might want to track down some old timers heavy nylon-rayon fishing cord and do a trial with that or twine strong enough to not break. Then when you have the hang of it and working perfectly just snip loose cord ends at the spring ends and you wil have a reference to cut off
a premeasured length of your more expensive dial cord.

Hello. I am having a problem finding a dial string diagram for an Air-Chief (Firestone) Model 3147A. This set is in Riders, 11-31, however it has no stringing info. It evidently has 2 dial strings, one for the main dial, and another one coming out for the tuning knob, in order to turn the dial. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You very much

And that should be a dual dial drum unit also....
