Philco - "Code 121"
2/19/2007 8:30:11 PMDoug Criner
(I've asked this question before, but can't remember the answer - or maybe I didn't get an answer.)

When Philco came up with a revised version of a radio model's design, they added "Code 121" to the model number. What was the significance, if any, to "121"?

What happened to Codes 1-120? :>)

Code 121 is the original or "base" version of a model. See Service Tip Number 35 from my site explaining CODE and RUN numbers used by Philco:

Thanks, Chuck. I've now got your website citation on this subject bookmarked. It is a little confusing, isn't it?

Weird.
