RCA Transistor Cross-reference
2/18/2007 9:24:25 AMBob I
I am in need of some assistance (info) that I am hoping someone here might have.
I’m looking for six RCA transistors (that I am unable to cross-reference), the part number on these is: 48-03-040934-02
They appear to be the TO-3 type and go in an Altec 1594A amplifier.
Is this enough info, and can anyone help?

Hi Bob

There is a 48-03-040934-03 listed as ECG130. Might be the same or a slight revision?

ECG130 is a NPN silicon power transistor. Collector to Emitter voltage = 60. Max current 15 amps. Max dissipation = 115 watts.

ECG130 crosses to 2N3055. I would try 2N3055 which is a common transistor.

Thanks Norm,
It looks like the 2N3055 are the ones I need! Thank you so much for you help.
