Idle Tire... Got one? Know someone who does?
2/14/2007 10:17:48 PMBob
I am working on a 1951 Zenith Cobra-Matic Record Changer Model S-14028 et al.
I did not see a listing for an Idler Tire for it on Kenselectronics site. Does anyone know of any other source for rebuilding or would have one for sale or exchange? I am also needing the drive wheel but I think that Kens can do that for me. I have a request in for info from him but I have not heard back yet. Anyone share some information regarding these two needs? hmmmm? :O)

Radiator hose or "O"-rings work well, both can be found at a local auto store.

Bob: Send me the either the Zenith part number OR the GC wheel number. OR the EXACT dimensions of the wheel and I mean EXACT including the bushing hole. I have been in business since 1951 and probably have one. Let me know if you need a cartridge as I think I have an original. Tom.

The V-M audio enthusiasts www.thevoiceofmusic.com was very helpful for me when I was repairing a zenith cobra. V-M built most of the record changers that were sold under other names. They probably have everything you need. Mark from Kalamazoo
