Jerry & Pat,

There is a Zenith K731L listed in Sams Photofact 653-12. You may be able to find this at your local library. Also there may be someone on here who has the Photofact and can email you.

Check that.
K725 without a letter suffix is a 1953 radio.
K725 with a suffix Of B, C, L. or W uses the Sam's 653-12 set-folder.

What with the supplied last photo of ..Sir William / Va:
That definitely seems to be the last version with its plasteeeek cabinet and the tube variation in the RF front end, with it using a 12DT8 and the tail end of the receivers detection being done with a 19T8.

I am more of an afficionado (4 units... count 'em1..2..3.. 4) of the grandfather circa 53-57 of that series with its large center round dial and its center Mae West ta-ta tone control knob. It uses the 12AT7 in the front end with its separate FM AFC control tube and a 14GT8 in the tail end det ckt of the receiver. That is one FINE performing receiver, what with its
extra AM RF stage that it has, as well its 2 stages of AM IF, with a large 6 in speaker thrown as wel, plus the incorporation of electrostatic tweeters in some later models.

Sir William / Va:
After viewing the picture, it was done in such subdued lighting that the model markup seemed to have been using a red day-glo color so I done a HTML tracking down, from that reference, to your site and was going to extract a sample of that colorization to add to my color pallettte and after doing so, and upon testing it on the same photo, found that it was merely plain ole' red. It was just the dark source material that it was placed upon enhancing that "day-glo" visualation effect. Enjoyed your site and its required effort.

BTW ..looking at the SHEDRADIOS, candohms, dad's plumbing problem ?,etc
1...You must certainly have a strong "Maggotbox" fetish
2...Certainly hope that your radios are in the left "shed"..lol
3...I have a Lamco receiver

And back to co-poster Pat Sharkey , I sent you the WHOLE ball of twine, just reel off any / all / as much info as neeeded.
Its been a month delay since the ORIGINAL poster made his query, and if still needed, my same info is available also.

I got a new digital video with still function. I'm not too pleased, something about the color changes. Probably the user. Same person working on the site posting water usage problems to county utilities in hope of getting adjustment.

I get calls once in awhile Edd from people telling me they got one of those rare antique Zenith radios with big round dial. "You don't see them anymore." Think I tell them about you! I've had a couple of the late 40's, 820 ones. Last one was so busted up I just got some parts off.

I sent the original poster an email and asked if he still needed the schematic, no reply yet. He'll catch up I guess.
