Does the tube fit into the original tube sockets of the Radiola III-A? If so, then it must be a WD-11 (the tube base of the WD-11 is unique). They are scarce as hens' teeth.
WD-11s are, in my opinion, too valuable to use in the radio. There are cheaper substitutes (that require an adapter).
Here my info on the WD-11/III-A business: http://www.enginova.com/Radiola_III.htm
If you can take a photo of the tube and its markings, you can send it to George Fathauer who might be able to tell you something about its history, etc.: http://www.users.qwest.net/~tubes/
:Anyone who can help me about historical data and information about this radiotube.
:I just bought an RADIOLA III-A ( 1924 ) and one of
:the tubes was this one.
The tube would be WD11 that Doug mentioned. It's the only popular tube with one large and 3 small pins used in Radiola III.
I have built WD11's from 3Q5GT, 3D6 and 5676 tubes. Jamed Fred used to make replacement bases but not any more. Bill Turner still sells WD11 replacements. He had a couple strokes so it may take some time? His latest are using the 5676 inside a silvered test tube glass. If you want to make your own I can send the information. Bill thought they looked nice and went into production.

:Christer: The original tubes for this radio were type WD-11. I don't recognize the tube nomenclature that you referenced.
