Everyone has been so helpful on the forum, here is another question, Bought a radio on EBay but I haven'treceived it yet. The seller said it has no builders plate only what is on the face, "Majestic Five". It's an older radio, 1920s? with five balloon tubes. I have searched the various sights on Majestic radios and there does not seem to be a radio built by Majestic Radio called a Majestic Five. It's DC powered with 4-5 knobs on the front, wood cabinet with a hinged top. Has anyone heard or know of this radio and who made it? I want to get a schematic of it. Thanks again for the help

Hi David

Noticed Alan Douglas answered you in another post. This Majestic Five was not made by Majestic. I checked through names used for 1920's radios but didn't find Majestic 5.

How is the front panel marked? A lot of these early 5 tube TRF radios were homebrew. If you need a schematic suggest Stewart Warner 300 series. That page in Rider has several schematics. One should be close to your radio.

There is not alot of writing on the front, but "Majestic-Five" is clearly printed on the front right hand side of it. If I could post some pictures it would probably help

David: Like Alan Douglas said, this is a homebrew radio, not built by the historical Majestic company of Chicago. Have you perused the Stewart-Warner radios suggested by Alan to find a schematic that is reasonably close to your chassis?

There were untold hundreds, if not thousands, of such homebrew kits, etc. It is seldom possible to uncover any specific info on them.

I checked and down loaded the Stewart Warner 300 model and looked them over. Whereby I do not have the radio yet I can not make a correct determination as to whethere or not these are simular to the Majestic Five I bought. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated, If you have any other thoughts please let me know.
