Just fried the AC indicator lamp testing a tube that had an obvious short in it & now I'm at a loss for finding a replacement. Can anyone help???

:Hi & thanks, I'll be sure to look them up. I don't know what I'd do without my TV-7. I've always been able to test just about any tube with it.

I've heard that Chinese 81 lamps may draw less current than the old US ones, not so good for this application. Try an established auto repair garage or hardware store; these used to be common automotive lamps.

I'll be sure to look up the website. My TV-7 is extremely useful to me. I'd hate to lose the use of it.
