DeForest oscilloscope

I recently purchased a 2" oscilloscope and have been trying to get it to operate properly. All the components check out but since it was a training project, it may be wired wrong. I would appreciate it greatly if anyone could tell me where I might find a schematic for it. Thanks

I've seen old ads for De Forest's Training Inc. which I think changed names to DeVry Technical Institute (same initials). I had a DeVry scope in the late 1950s. I expect it was actually made by another company, perhaps Triumph in Chicago, where DeVry was located.

The usual source for 1940s scope schematics is a book by Rider and Uslan, "Encyclopedia on Cathode Radio Oscilloscopes and Their Uses." Mine is 1950 and I think there was a later edition also. If I knew the tube lineup I could do a quick check of Triumph schematics and see if one matches. As I don't read this forum very often, you can email me: adouglas (at) gis.net
