PACO T60

Tom mentioned the possibility of the resistors on the PACO T60 drifting thus causing the unit to fail. Another person mentioned that the rectifier might be bad in that there does not seem to be any plate voltage on the tube when tested. What's your thoughts on this? Further, who is a good source for "gold band resistor" the few sources I know have a couple of the resistors in the unit but not all, any suggestions?

The Paco is a basic emission tester and uses the tube under test to rectify the AC current, the tubes are tested as rectifiers. The rectifier in your tester is only used for the leakage/shorts test and the line adjust function, it is not used for the emission test. The easiest way to fix the resistors is to parallel them with another resistor to bring them back to the proper value.
