Hello!, I just got a Magnavox Astrosonic Series and I am trying to find the year it was built too. I do have a model number; 2P3802 and the serial number; 348548. I have the operating instructions booklet and the instrument inspection card. Yet, there is no date as to when it was built....anywhere. If you have any info on this, I would be greatly appreciative. Candy, unplug the set, remove the back, take down the stamped numbers on the metal chassis. Come back and post. Tho this does not always work with Magnavox, it's the best chance one has of finding the mfd date.
